Flying Mountain Bike Review

Is The Speedy Flying Lightweight Mountain Bike Also Tough Enough?

Flying Mountain BikeNo-one wants to pay too much or too little for a decent mountain bike, which is where the Flying Lightweight Mountain Bike catches the eye.

This one isn’t as cheap as some models and has promises of a light frame, high speed and reliable components. But, it isn’t that expensive either. So, does it do enough to impress?

The Pros and Cons of this Flying Lightweight 21 Speeds Mountain Bike

Pros:

  •  The vast range of speeds in the gear system
  •  The use of big 29er wheels for the terrain
  •  Some nice extra features to finish the bike off

Cons:

  •  There are problems with the tyres and wheels
  •  There are questions over the suspension

The Flying Lightweight MTB has great potential for a lot of new riders with its speed and build.

There is a lot to like about this bike if you want something with a bit of speed and better handling for mountain biking.

While there is a warning in the listing not to use this for any sort of intense competition or stunt riding, there is still plenty here to help new riders out.

A key factor here is the speed and the vast range on the 24-speed gear system. This and the lighter aluminium alloy frame are ideal for picking up some speed and handling a few climbs and descents in the great outdoors.

Other helpful elements in the specification include the 29er wheels, which are great for this sort of activity, the responsive Shimano brakes and the bonus of the reflectors and bottle holder.

The bike also comes 85% assembled and while it would have been helpful to have an English manual and a few extra tools, most buyers seem to be able to put it together without too much trouble.

Just be aware of some faults in the tyres and cheaper parts within this Flying 24-speed Mountain Bike.

One of the downsides to this partial assembly is that there are sometimes issues with the parts and maintenance. There are comments that the tyres should be much better for the price paid and aren’t as puncture resistant as advertised.

Others have had problems getting replacement valves that fit. Then there is the fact that the listing doesn’t mention the suspension. This might explain the warning about getting carried away with any jumps and stunts.

What does this all mean for the final verdict on this Flying Lightweight Unisex Mountain Bike?

There are issues here to deal with regarding the wheels and questionable suspension. There seems to be enough here to get riders started in the great outdoors but not so much that they get the high-end ride of expensive models.

This might explain the middle-ground price tag. The wide range of speed settings and light frame make up from some of the issues. If you are prepared to upgrade the tyres and wheels, and to deal with the final assembly process, you can still find that this Flying bike does enough.
